Kaduna Capital City Gets 12 New Roads for Ease of Commercial Activities, Connectivity

The 12 asphaltic roads inaugurated by Governor Uba Sani penultimate week, within the Kaduna metropolis, are to serve as conduits for economic growth.

The roads are Garba Ja Abdulkadir, Bissau, and Unguwan Muazu township roads and Water Intake road, off Yakowa road.

Others are the Yakubu Gowon residential layout road, the Kawo layout road, off ‘Yan Awaki road, the State House roads network, and the stadium roundabout to Command junction road.

The rest are the residential layout off Gobarau road, the residential layout off Kinshasha road, Sultan-Surame road and Ohinoyi road.

The governor said the completed roads would facilitate connectivity and accessibility for residents, farmers, business owners, and other road users in Kaduna and its environs.

He also promised that in the second quarter of 2025, his administration will commission 12 more roads, including the 5.525 km asphaltic road from the airport road to the Tudun Biri community.

“Our administration”, he revealed at the ceremony “has performed the groundbreaking for the construction of 70 roads, totaling 770 kilometres across the three senatorial districts of Kaduna State”.

The number of these projects, he concluded “have already been successfully completed, the remaining ones are progressing steadily towards completion.”
