He appreciates the encouragement by the Kebbi Development Forum’s Committee on Environment and Climate Change describing it as an important Stakeholder Group in the drive to actualize the target.

Abubakar Naamare Majikiran Jega called on Individuals, Public and Private Sector organizations to support the move in order to make meaningful impact in the ecosystem sustainability drive by keying into the tree planting campaigns by personal participation in planting, nurturing and protections activities.

The Coordinator explained that Youth Constitute over 70% of the State’s Population which is about 3 Million out of the projected 5.4 Million people in the State and if everyone can plant a tree, nurture and protect it ; the narratives will change positively in the next few years.
